Auger
CME 95
The largest rigs in our hollow stem auger fleet are the CME 95s. With over 31,000 foot-pounds of torque and four forward gears, there’s a rotation speed and torque combination for just about any situation. This rig is capable of drilling anything from large diameter augers to deep rotary jobs. The CME 95 can drill hole sizes up to 24 inches in diameter using hollow stem augers and can be converted to drill with air/mud rotary, drive casing, and both wireline and conventional coring drilling techniques. Our CME 95s all come equipped with a 140 lb. automatic sampling hammer providing extremely consistent and accurate Standard Penetration Test results (SPT), meeting all ASTM-D-1586-99 requirements.
CME 85
Our fleet of CME 85 hollow stem auger drill rigs have both angle and vertical capabilities and are designed with many features for easier, faster operation. The CME 85s can handle hole sizes up to 18 inches in diameter using hollow stem augers and can be converted to drill with air/mud rotary, drive casing, and both wireline and conventional coring drilling techniques, making an extremely versatile rig package. Our CME 85s all come equipped with a 140 lb. automatic sampling hammer providing extremely consistent and accurate Standard Penetration Test results (SPT), meeting all ASTM-D-1586-99 requirements.
Boart Longyear BK 81
Our fleet of hollow stem auger drill rigs begins with the Boart Longyear BK-81s. These rigs provide exceptional versatility and power. With over 24,000 foot-pounds of torque, coupled with drilling air/mud rotary, drive casing, or wireline / conventional coring drilling techniques, these rigs are capable of almost any situation we throw at them. Our BK 81s all come equipped with a 140 lb. automatic sampling hammer, providing extremely consistent and accurate Standard Penetration Test results (SPT), meeting all ASTM-D-1586-99 requirements.
CME 1250 Track
The track-mounted CME 1250 improves the engine, right-angle drive, and rotary box from the CME 95, making it the most powerful all-terrain rig built to date. It combines big drilling power with the off-road mobility of track-mounted construction equipment, allowing it to get to remote, rough-terrain locations. With 31,600 foot-pounds of torque, the CME 1250 can handle large diameter holes using hollow stem augers and can be converted to drill with air/mud rotary, drive casing, and both wireline/conventional coring drilling techniques. Our CME 1250 comes equipped with a 140 lb. automatic sampling hammer, providing extremely consistent and accurate Standard Penetration Test results (SPT), meeting all ASTM-D-1586-99 requirements.
